Prodara FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Prodara, Prometheus, security, pricing, and how we compare to Productboard, Aha, Pendo, and Dovetail. Don't see your question? Get in touch.

What is Prodara?

Prodara is an AI-native product management platform. It combines customer feedback intake, prioritization, roadmaps, and an embedded AI assistant named Prometheus into a single workspace — replacing the typical stack of Productboard, Aha, Pendo, and Dovetail with one tool that learns from your data.

How is Prodara different from Productboard?

Productboard is a feedback aggregator with bolt-on AI features. Prodara is AI-native: every feedback item, prioritization score, and roadmap card is reasoned over by Prometheus from day one.

You get automatic theme clustering, churn-risk surfacing, and prioritization recommendations without manual tagging or rules engines. See our full-stack PM playbook for the architectural difference, or compare pricing directly.

How is Prodara different from Aha!?

Aha! is built around manual goal-and-initiative hierarchies that PMs maintain by hand. Prodara generates and updates that hierarchy from your actual customer signal — feedback, support tickets, usage data — so the roadmap reflects what users want, not what got typed in last quarter.

Prodara is also dramatically faster to set up: hours, not weeks. See plans for stage-appropriate pricing.

How is Prodara different from Pendo?

Pendo is a product analytics + in-app guides tool. Prodara is a product management workspace. They overlap on usage data, but Prodara is where you decide what to build next; Pendo is where you measure how it gets used. We don't replace Pendo — export its data and bring it in by CSV today; a direct connector is coming soon.

How is Prodara different from Dovetail?

Dovetail is a research repository — interview transcripts, tags, highlights. Prodara is the prioritization and roadmap layer that consumes those insights. Prometheus reads research findings directly and links them to feature requests, so the path from interview to shipped feature is one continuous workflow instead of two disconnected tools.

Who is Prometheus?

Prometheus is Prodara's embedded AI assistant. It reads everything in your workspace — feedback, tickets, research, analytics, roadmap cards — and answers questions in plain English: what should we ship next, why is churn rising, which feature requests overlap. It's not a chatbot bolted on the side; it's the reasoning engine behind every prioritization score and roadmap suggestion. See it on the landing page.

Does Prodara support SAML SSO?

Yes. SAML SSO is included on the Enterprise plan, with support for Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, OneLogin, and any SAML 2.0 IdP. SCIM provisioning is also available.

Where is Prodara data hosted?

Prodara runs on Vercel and Supabase in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+ enforced via HSTS) and at rest, and OAuth tokens and API keys get an additional AES-256-GCM layer before storage. EU data residency is on our roadmap and is not available today. Full details on our security page.

Is Prodara SOC 2 compliant?

Prodara itself is not yet independently SOC 2 certified. Our infrastructure and auth providers (Vercel, Supabase, Clerk) hold SOC 2 certifications, and we follow SOC 2 aligned practices internally. Full detail on the security overview.

What does Prodara cost?

Prodara has five tiers: Starter (free), Builder at $49/mo, Scale at $149/mo, Business at $499/mo, and Enterprise (custom pricing with SAML SSO and a dedicated CSM). Pricing is flat per workspace, not per seat. See the plans page for current rates.

Does Prodara have a free tier?

Yes. The Starter plan is free forever for 1 seat and includes Interviews, Tickets and Work clustered into one evidence ledger, a Blueprint workspace, and 5 AI syntheses per month. No credit card required to sign up. See all plans.

How long does onboarding take?

Most teams are productive in a single afternoon. Self-serve onboarding takes about 30 minutes: import your feedback data via CSV or file upload, and Prometheus generates an initial prioritization for review. Enterprise customers get a dedicated CSM-led onboarding that typically wraps in 1–2 weeks including SSO and data migration.

Can Prodara replace my whole PM stack?

For most teams, yes. Prodara is designed to replace Productboard, Aha, Dovetail, and your prioritization spreadsheets. Pendo (analytics) and Jira/Linear (engineering execution) typically stay in place — connectors for all three are coming soon. The one-platform argument is here.

What does Prodara integrate with?

Today, data flows in through CSV and file upload (PDF, DOCX, CSV, TXT, MD, audio, VTT, SRT) and the developer API with its MCP server. Vendor connectors are coming soon: Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and more. See plans for data source limits.

How is my customer data used?

Your data is yours. Prodara never trains foundation models on customer data. Prometheus runs inference on your data inside our isolated cloud environment, and customer data is never shared with other tenants or used to improve the product across customers. Data deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Full details on the security page and in our privacy policy.
